Your air conditioners condensate drain line is located where the air handler is. In Houston HVAC installs the condensate will usually be PVC or CPV. Commercial applications may use copper as drain lines. The drain line is then ran either into a floor drain or outside of the home.
If the drain line is ran outside it is usually located next to the condensing unit. This is not always the case though. Some common areas in homes where the air handler is installed are attics, garages, basements and closets. Had a large job following a burst pipe that destroyed pretty much both bathrooms. Got several estimates, of which Wedgeworth was very competitive and thorough (some were ridiculously high - always get multiple estimates!). This was thousands of dollars of work that had to be done in stages in cooperation with the overall contractor. Of all the moving parts of this rebuild, Wedgeworth was the most reliable and most accommodating. In short, they did a great job at a good price, and did it correctly and did it when it needed to be done. Now, at the end there were some issues with leaks after the final install of faucets, but Wedgeworth came out promptly three days in a row to take care of them, including a Saturday - so they covered their work without any trouble; even gave a follow up call a week later to make sure all was well. They are my go-to plumbers now, without question. Special shout out to Damondrick - great service, no run around, no up sell, no surprises, just took care of his end professionally and well.

Dee was honest with me about what needed to be repaired. He was so helpful with explaining that my tub drain had all the signs of a functioning drain. Who knew that vortex and gurgling actually had explanations. I loved it. Prices are fair relatively speaking. The estimate was FREE ! ! They came out on a holiday and called to keep me updated on arrival time and on being 15 minutes later than expected. I felt helped and informed all throughout the appointment. I will give them a 4 stars only because I wish their estimate was a line item, separating labor from cost of products. It’s the best way to compare quotes. That being said Dee guided me through choices and he is coming back Thursday to install a garbage disposal that I will purchase. I’m tired of businesses not calling back, with customer service that does nothing to help when things don’t work as expected. I am using Wedgwood Plumbing because I have confidence in truely honest plumbers. So refreshing to trust the workers that enter our homes.
